How to Turn Off the Camera Sound on Samsung i939d Galaxy SIII (Blue)

We all love taking pictures of certain things, objects and people with our smartphones. But it is not always convenient if each new picture is accompanied by a certain clicking sound of the camera, which is turned on by default on Android smartphones. In this article, we will explain how a user can turn off the camera sound on Samsung i939d Galaxy SIII (Blue) in two ways that will fit two different phone use cases.

Muting the camera shutter sound and keeping all other notifications intact

Sometimes a user may not want the camera sound to be enabled, but the other mobile phone sounds may be needed and even important. If you want to disable the shutter sound specifically so you don’t have to hear it each time you take a photo, here’s what you have to do:

1. Go to the Camera app on your phone.

2. Click on the Settings cog icon in the top right corner of the interface of the app.

1. Open the control panel “curtain” (swipe down from the top right corner of the screen).
2. Tap the sound settings icon and set it to vibration or complete silence mode.

This will turn off the camera shutter sound until you go back to the control panel and do the same, restoring the sound settings to their original state with the bell-shaped icon.
