How to Turn on the Flashlight on LG Q Stylus

Modern cell phones offer users all the convenient features. Alarm clock, calculator, notepad and much more has been in your phone for a long time. However, this enormous functionality confuses some users, and sometimes they can't even do the usual things on the phone. Even if you need to turn on the flash or the torch on the LG Q Stylus, it can turn into a difficult quest.

Switching on the flashlight

The easiest method that everyone usually uses is to turn on the flashlight via the quick access panel. This is how you do it:

1. Unlock the phone so that the home screen is open.
2. Swipe down from the top of the display.

3. The notification panel will open and several icons will appear. One of them looks like a flashlight. When you tap on it, the flashlight will turn on. It is turned off by tapping the same icon or by double-tapping the screen lock button.

There is an option to set up a quick access to the flashlight. This is done through the settings of the Android phone in the following steps:

1. Open the notification panel.

4. A new menu appears, find "Button Shortcuts" and tap on it.
5. A list of actions and applications that you can open with shortcuts appear. Select "Turn on torch" and tap on it.
6. Select a suitable option of flashlight activation in the menu that appears. Now the flashlight will be switched on by pressing the smartphone buttons. At the upper part of the screen there is an animated image of how the flashlight will be triggered.

How to turn on the flash when taking photos on LG Q Stylus

Not everyone knows how to turn on the flash when taking pictures on LG Q Stylus. It is a very easy thing to do:

1. Turn on the smartphone camera.
2. Tap on the icon of a lightning bolt in the upper left corner.
3. In the menu that appears, tap on the "On" button. The flash will now work when you take a photo. It can be turned off in the same way, by pressing the lightning bolt in the upper left corner of the screen and tapping on the “Off” button.

How to turn on the flash (flashlight) for incoming calls and notifications on LG Q Stylus

The flash for calls and notifications is turned on in a slightly different way. The procedure is as follows:

1. Go to the settings and select "Apps" in the menu.
2. Select "System App Settings" in the opened menu.
3. A new extended menu opens, where you need to find and tap on the item "Call Settings".
4. Select "Incoming calls settings" in the menu that appears.
5. A screen appears with several options the one of which is "Flash when ringing". Turn it on, and now you will see bright flashes when somebody calls you.

There is nothing complicated about setting up flash and flashlight. It takes a few minutes to learn, and it's a skill that you will remember for a long time.
