How to Set a Password for Apps in the JXD P1000

Do you want to protect your data from prying eyes? Enable app encryption on your device! This function is available on all Android devices, and with its help, you can set a password for the application in JXD P1000.

Warning when setting a password for the application

When you first start encryption, you will be asked to set a privacy password and write down the answers to two questions for data recovery. First, we strongly recommend that you remember your password and never forget it. Secondly, we strongly recommend giving simple answers to questions for data recovery, as in extreme cases this will be the only way to regain access to the application. If you forget both the password and the answers to the questions, the only option to delete the password — is to reset the phone to factory settings.

Application encryption is available in any Android-based smartphone by default. In no case, do not use third-party applications, especially if you are going to download them from unknown sites. Firstly, such applications are simply not needed, because although they offer additional functionality, in 99% of cases you will not use them. Secondly, they are not secure, because unlike system encryption, blocking of such applications is quite easy to bypass through the Recovery menu. Thirdly, most of them contain ads that can only be turned off for money.

Setting a password for the application in JXD P1000

For this:

1. Go to «Settings».

2. «Safety».
3. «Privacy and application encryption».
4. Enter the privacy password and write down the answers to the data recovery questions.
5. «Application encryption».
6. Turn the toggle switch next to the desired application to the «On» position. Now, when you launch the application, you will be required to have the privacy password that you previously set.
